Beovu is an FDA cleared treatment for Neovascular or Wet AMD, and Diabetic Retinopathy. There have been some safety concerned from inflammation after Beovu injections.  

Wet AMD is a type of Advanced Age Related Macular Degeneration in which patients loose vision quickly due to leakage or bleeding from abnormal blood vessels growing beneath the retina. 

Retinal Vein Occlusion is a condition in which the retinal veins are blocked, and fluid build up in the center of the retina.  This is called macular edema, and can cause blurred vision, distortion and eventually lead to permanent vision loss.
